RAIN WATER HARVESTING FILTERS

Water Saving

With the use of Rainy Filters one can harvest the rainwater and reutilize or recharge the groundwater source to meet the requirements to the extent of 35 percent of the annual requirements.

For example one square meters of roof area at 25 mm precipitation of rainfall yields 25 liters. A house of 110 square meters roof area (30’ * 40’ = 1200 square feet) considering 800 mm of rainfall, 70,000 liters of  water per year can be harvested and utilized for regular domestic usage or to recharge ground water sources

Rainy Filters

  • ‘Rainy’ First of its kind Rainwater Harvesting Filters with self cleaning arrangements, Minimum maintenance, wall mounting and easy to install.
  • Our extensive research and developmental efforts resulted in the invention of a completely revolutionary Rainy FL series filter Models based on the cohesive behavior of water particles. The key point of this filter is the self cleaning mechanism in eliminating   the need of periodic maintenance. Constant innovation with the help of cutting edge technologies led to further improvement in the design and Manufacture of the rainwater harvesting filters, suitable for both Individual households as well as large industrial sectors.

Models

  • FL-150: The Characteristic feature of this filter is its capacity to take up loads up to 150 square meters of roof area even at highest intensity of rainfall that is 50 mm/hour. The discharge capacity is 100 LPM at 50 mm intensity of Rainfall per hour. This filter can be conveniently used for harvesting rainwater for individual households, Schools Small and Medium commercial buildings.
  • FL-250: The characteristic of this filter is to take up loads up to 250 square meter of roof area even at highest intensity of rainfall that is 50 mm/hour. The discharge capacity is 160 LPM at 50 mm intensity of rainfall per hour. This filter is specially designed to serve the needs of industry. Institutions, Corporations and Commercial complexes.

Innovative Filters

‘Rainy’ Filters are designed to fix to the WALL by connecting Rooftop Drain water Pipes. When the rainwater flows by gravity through the uniquely designed inlet of filter and enters the upper housing so as to flow in to the SS 304 filter element in angular motion at specific velocity, which creates cohesive force and segregates dirt particles and clean water individually. Thereby dirt particles and waste materials are flushed out through the drain outlet and at the same time clean water passes through the clean water outlet which can be used for reutilization or recharging of bore wells.

Conventional Filters

  • In conventional Filters, the filtration by way of sedimentation tanks, resulting in clean water with more suspended particles. This technique required periodic maintenance and repeated use of consumables like charcoal, sand and pebbles etc.
  • The rainwater along with dirt particles, tree leaves and other particles have to pass through the filter candle or through the other   filtration Media like mesh, sponge, or sand. In this case the debris will be clogged inside the filter and get decayed. Due to this, the rain water gets contaminated and also the chances of overflow of water through the filter/ rooftop resulting in unsafe flow of water to the surrounding environment.
